1. Matthew 5:35 - Jesus called Jerusalem His City. Israel is Loved!!

Jerusalem, for it is the city of the great King

2. Isaiah 2:3 - God you are in the midst of Jerusalem. Let your presence be revealed.

Many shall come and say, “Come, and let us go…to the house of the God”…out of Zion shall go forth…the word of the Lord from Jerusalem. 

3. Psalms 102:12-13 - God, let your set time of favor & mercy on Zion come

But thou, O LORD, shalt endure for ever; and thy remembrance unto all generations.

Thou shalt arise, and have mercy upon Zion: for the time to favour her, yea, the set time, is come.

4. Romans 11:26 - All of Israel Shall be saved & Jesus will turn away all ungodliness

And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Zion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob:

5. Psalms 147:12-14 - God brings peace & strengthens the borders, gates & bars of Jerusalem.

Praise the LORD, O Jerusalem; praise thy God, O Zion.

For he hath strengthened the bars of thy gates; he hath blessed thy children within thee.

He maketh peace in thy borders, and filleth thee with the finest of the wheat.

6. Hosea 6:6 - Jesus let mercy be felt and your salvation revealed in your land.

For I desired mercy, and not sacrifice; and the knowledge of God more than burnt offerings.

7. Psalms 138:7 - God stretches out His hand against the wrath of Israel's enemies

Though I walk in the midst of trouble, you preserve my life; you stretch out your hand against the wrath of my enemies, and your right hand delivers me.

8. Daniel 9:19 - God hear & forgive for your name's sake.

O Lord, hear; O Lord, forgive; O Lord, hearken and do; defer not, for thine own sake, O my God: for thy city and thy people are called by thy name.

9. Psalms 29:2-3;10-11 - God's mighty voice gives strength and peace to His people Israel.

Give unto the LORD the glory due unto his name; worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness.

The voice of the LORD is upon the waters: the God of glory thundereth: the LORD is upon many waters.

The LORD sitteth upon the flood; yea, the LORD sitteth King for ever.

The LORD will give strength unto his people; the LORD will bless his people with peace.

10. Psalms 129:1-5 - Confusion is determined for those who hate Zion

Many a time have they afflicted me from my youth: yet they have not prevailed against me.

The plowers plowed upon my back: they made long their furrows.

The LORD is righteous: he hath cut asunder the cords of the wicked.

Let them all be confounded and turned back that hate Zion.
