Prayer Tips #3

 

1) Zech 8:2-3 - God is Zealous over Zion

Thus saith the LORD of hosts; I was jealous for Zion with great jealousy, and I was jealous for her with great fury.

2) Matthew 23:39 - Israel will recognize Jesus as the Messiah

For I say unto you, Ye shall not see me henceforth, till ye shall say, Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord.

3) 1 Samuel 12:22 - God will Not Forsake Israel For His Namesake

For the LORD will not forsake his people for his great name's sake: because it hath pleased the LORD to make you his people.

4) 1 Samuel 12:24 -  Prayer for Israel to have a heart to consider God's Goodness towards them

Only fear the LORD, and serve him in truth with all your heart: for consider how great things he hath done for you.

5) Ephesians 2:14 - Israel will have revelation of Jesus's love and acceptance, of both Jew and Gentile as One New Man.

For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us;

Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace;

6) Psalms 24:3-6 - Israel is the Jacob Generation that will pursue God and receive blessing

Who shall ascend into the hill of the LORD? or who shall stand in his holy place?
He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully.
He shall receive the blessing from the LORD, and righteousness from the God of his salvation.
This is the generation of them that seek him, that seek thy face, O Jacob. Selah.

7) Psalms 17:7-9 - Israel is kept by God and saved from His enemies

Shew thy marvellous lovingkindness, O thou that savest by thy right hand them which put their trust in thee from those that rise up against them.

Keep me as the apple of the eye, hide me under the shadow of thy wings,

From the wicked that oppress me, from my deadly enemies, who compass me about.

8) Psalms 38:18-19 - God is lovingly jealous over Israel.  May all the nations know it!

And it shall come to pass at the same time when Gog shall come against the land of Israel, saith the Lord GOD, that my fury shall come up in my face.

For in my jealousy and in the fire of my wrath have I spoken, Surely in that day there shall be a great shaking in the land of Israel;
